Centerless Grinding
Centerless grinding is an effective way of saving time and money on finishing parts. Tolerance of .0001 or less can be held on diameters ranging from .005″ to 3.500″ and lengths from 1/4″ to 15 ft. long. There are two types of centerless grinding, Thru – feed & Infeed. When Thru – feed grinding, the work goes on one side of the machine and comes out the other. The Infeed method is used when work has a shoulder, head or some portion more extensive than the ground diameter. At our 3600 square foot facility, we have 5 cylindrical grinders that are capable of grinding parts to your specific needs regardless of amount, width, length, or hardness.
